Be Creative And Make Your Own Gift Basket
Here Are Some Simple Instructions
One Valentine's Day I decided that I was going to make some of my own baskets. I went shopping and picked up some inexpensive baskets, heart candies, chocolates, some heat shaped cookies and bottles of sparkling juice.
Then I got to work. I put together 4 baskets, wrapped in Cello bags bows and all. I set them on the counter just waiting for my wife to come home from work.
When she came in the door, she looked at the baskets, then me and said where did you buy those. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if I can build a Gift Basket anybody can.
This is what started me off into my own little gift basket business. I started making these a selling them at work, soon word of mouth took over and whenever there was a holiday or special occasion I was there to offer a beautiful gift basket.

Following Are Some Step By Step Instructions
Making Your Own Gift Basket Is Fun So Be Creative
First you need to know what products you want for your basket, you probably already know the theme of your basket so that will determine the products you choose.
Then choose your basket or container, there are many different types, and sizes of baskets, it doesn't have to be a basket, use a decorative bowl, box or container.,The choices here are also endless, as you can arrange your product in so many containers, even a coffee mug.
1. A Basket or Container
2. Some filler for the bottom (Newsprint, Packing Paper, Styrofoam)
3. Colored Shred
4. Some glue dots or double sided tape
5.Cello Bag and Pull Bow
Begin by placing your filler on the bottom of the basket or container, almost to the top. This is so your products are higher and don't sink to the bottom.
Then place your decorative shred over the filler, and begin arranging your products until you are satisfied with the look. If you don't like the way it looks you can change it.
Use glue dots or double sided tape to hold the products together, and in place. Now place it in the cello bag, there are different sizes of cello bags. If your bag is too big just tape back the corners around your basket or container.
Now gather the cello together at the top, use some bow string to tie it and then place and tie your bow.
If you bought a shrink wrap bag, place it over the top carefully and tape it to the bottom of your baskete or container. You can use a hair dyer to heat the shrink wrap.
Some other ideas: Add small balloons, curl the tabs on the bows, and don't forget to add a special card for the occasion.
